STILLWATER — For most outside the fanbase, Oklahoma State hasn’t exactly been a hot commodity in the virtual world, but that might change this summer.

On Wednesday, Oklahoma State announced its top 10 rated players in the upcoming College Football 27 videogame, which releases on July 9.

Running back Caleb Hawkins tops the list after he finished first in touchdowns scored (29) and fifth in rushing yards (1,434) last season at North Texas. Hawkins’ overall rating of 91 also tied him for seventh overall at the position in the game alongside West Virginia back Cam Cook. The only Big 12 back to start with a higher rating will be BYU’s LJ Martin.

Receiver Wyatt Young was the second-ranked Poke with an overall rating of 90. For context, that would put him in at least a three-way tie for ninth overall at the position alongside Houston receiver Amare Thomas. Colorado receiver Danny Scudero, rated 91 overall, is the only Big 12 player rated higher at the position.

It seems like QB1 also just missed the social media graphic, as Drew Mestemaker is poised to start the game with an overall rating of 89. That ties him with Sooner John Mateer and an unknown number of others for 10th at the position.

Here is where the rest of Oklahoma State’s top 10 players ranked in the game.

LB Ethan Wesloski (rated 87): Recorded 113 tackles, tied for 24th nationally, last season at North Texas.

CB Mo Horn (86): Started all 13 games for Texas Tech in 2024 before playing a backup role for the Red Raiders in 2025.

Edge James Williams (84): Enters the fall as the Cowboys’ leader in pressures created last season after he racked up 22 for the Seminoles.

WR Justin Bowick (83): Recorded 265 yards and five touchdowns on 22 receptions last season at Illinois.

RB Ayo Adeyi (82): Reunites with former head coach Eric Morris after limited work with James Madison during the last two seasons. He rushed for 1,017 yards and six scores at UNT in 2023

WR Chris Barnes (82): Stole the show in the spring scrimmage with four receptions for 141 yards and a touchdown. He also earned a spot on the Jet Award watchlist, given to the top returner in the nation.

WR Miles Coleman (82): Finished second in targets (58) and third in receiving yards (550) for UNT last season, thanks in part to great chemistry with Mestemaker, his childhood friend.
