On Heels of Official Visit, OSU Offers 2020 Utah State Commit Nicolas Session
OSU has a new target at safety in 2020.

On Saturday afternoon, three-star Class of 2020 safety prospect Nicolas Session watched Oklahoma State trample Kansas as part of a multi-day official visit on OSU’s campus. On Sunday, the Cowboys coaching staff turned their full focus on him, making him an official offer on the same day he left town.
Session announced his offer Sunday morning, which was met with some inviting responses from fellow Cowboys to join them, including 2020 OL commit Cade Bennett.

OSU is efforting to poach Session, the 6-foot, 184-pound safety from Salt Lake City. He’s been committed to Utah State since July, but he’s kept his options open and appears receptive to hearing schools’ pitches. His OSU official visit was the first of several upcoming, which also include scheduled trips to Hawaii and Oregon State.
Safety remains a position of focus for OSU in the 2020 class, and Session is the most recent target to emerge. The Cowboys are bringing in Tulsa area star Zach Middleton to likely play safety, but he’s the only current commit of OSU’s 17-man class that is currently projected to play on the back end of OSU’s defense. OSU’s early push appears to be working.
“I think the thing that stood out to me mostly was how the whole community was involved,” he told 247Sports of his OSU visit. “All the families and alumni work to help the kids to become better prepared for their future. Stillwater isn’t a big city, but it kinda reminds me of Utah and it was a really chill, laid back city. It’s a college, family-oriented town.”
Session is ranked as the No. 136 safety in the country and the No. 13 overall player in the state of Utah.
