OSU Adds 2016 Jenks OL Sheldon Barnes as Preferred Walk-On
The 2016 recruiting class has caught some heat lately as far as scholarship players are concerned, as Mike Gundy and Co. have just barely missed on some high rated blue chip prospects. But the walk-on program is continuing to impress as we close in on national signing day.
Gundy’s walk-on program has a very unique notoriety compared to other programs, and thus far, they are bringing in an impressive haul of walk-ons for next season. Quarterback Nyc Burns and twin linebackers Cade and Zach Smith all turned down Div. I scholarships to chase their dreams in Stillwater, and OSU added another prospect to that list on Tuesday when Jenks, Okla. offensive guard Sheldon Barnes committed to OSU.
