The Cowboys have their first postseason path.

The Big 12 on Saturday night released the bracket for the Big 12 Baseball Championship, which will be played next week in Arlington. The tournament will begin Tuesday, with the finals concluding things at 6 p.m. Saturday. Every game will either be streamed on ESPN+ or televised on ESPNU, with the championship game being on ESPNU.

Oklahoma State notched the 2 seed, earning the Pokes a first-round bye and extra day off Tuesday. The Cowboys will await the winner of Big 12 newcomers Cincinnati and UCF in the 5-8 matchup. OSU dropped its series to UCF but swept Cincinnati.

The winner of OSU’s first matchup Wednesday will play the winner of Texas and Texas Tech on Thursday. The winner between the Longhorns and Tech in that 3-10 matchup gets a day off Wednesday. Texas is the only other team on the Cowboys’ side of the bracket that they lost a series to during the season. OSU lost a series to the No. 3 Longhorns, but won three of four against No. 1 Oklahoma this regular season. OU also lost its series to Texas.

In the top bracket, the Sooners will get a bye before playing the winner of the 6-7 matchup between Kansas State and Kansas. West Virginia and TCU will compete in the 4-9 matchup.
