The College World Series is taking place this week in Omaha, and the Cowboys are retooling their roster to try to make a run at making it there next year.

Oklahoma State has added a pair of transfer pitchers over the recent days in Jacksonville right-hander Tommy Allman and Hawaii lefty Harrison Bodendorf.

Starting with Allman, he has one season of eligibility remaining after throwing for the Dolphins the past three seasons. This past season he threw 46 1/3 innings in 19 appearances. Fifteen of those appearances came out of the bullpen. He posted a 5.05 ERA in 2024, striking out 52 batters and having a .278 batting average against.

Allman had a 6.44 ERA as a sophomore in 2023, a season in which he threw 29 1/3 innings and struck out 27. He made three appearances as a freshman in 2022.

Out of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Allman was a two-time state champion in high school and won a high school national championship in 2021 at Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Prep.

Then came Bodendorf’s commitment. Out of Temecula, California, Bodendorf was a Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American in 2023 after throwing 57 1/3 innings, most of which came out of the bullpen, and posting a 3.45 ERA while striking out 66.

He had a 4.61 ERA as a sophomore in 2024, throwing 56 2/3 innings while making 20 appearances and 11 starts. Teams hit .247 off of him in 2024. He has two seasons of eligibility left.
