OSU Baseball Game vs. Wichita State Canceled due to Forecast for Rain and Storms
The game will not be rescheduled.
OSU baseball’s game scheduled for Tuesday night at O’Brate Stadium vs. Wichita State has been canceled, the program announced Tuesday morning as part of a proactive decision with rain and storms likely coming through the area into the evening and overnight. It will not be rescheduled.
OSU’s next game is scheduled for Friday in Ann Arbor, Michigan, as the Cowboys take on the Wolverines in a three-game road series.
OSU has won five-straight games leading into the weekend, its second-longest win streak of the season, culminating with a sweep this week vs. Kansas in a road series. In that stretch, OSU also pummeled OU in a 19-8 Bedlam rout just days after wrapping up a home series vs. West Virginia with a win.
Ranked No. 17, OSU is 28-13 on the season and in second place in the Big 12 standings with an 11-7 league record. West Virginia, which defeated OSU in the series in Stillwater two weeks ago, stands atop the conference standings.
