The list of applicants for the Oklahoma State basketball team’s two remaining scholarship spots continues to grow.

On Tuesday, Kevin Cross tweeted out he has an OSU offer. Cross has flown way under the radar to this point. He doesn’t have a 247 profile. He is a 6-foot-8 forward out of Mills University Studies High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. Cross and Mills made it to the finals of Arkansas’ 4A state tournament this season.

Without profiles on top recruiting sites, there’s not a lot of info out on Cross. His other offers include Southern Miss and Illinois. Cross took a visit to Southern Miss last weekend, according to Arkansas preps insider Kevin McPherson.

There is a good chunk of recent film out on Cross, film that makes it hard to understand how undervalued he has been to this point. Although he is 6-8, Cross doesn’t mind bringing the ball up the floor. He’s a one-man fast break. He can protect the rim, and he has an adequate jumper. How much of that will transfer from 4A basketball to Big 12 basketball is difficult to predict, but it looks as if he has a nice foundation.
