OSU Battling for Visit From 5-Star TE Isaac Nauta
5-star TE Isaac Nauta could make a visit to Stillwater before February.
Five-star tight end Isaac Nauta recently opened up his recruitment after having been committed to Florida State.
The 6-foot-4, 237-pound tight end has 37 scholarship offers, including the likes of Georgia, Alabama, Auburn and many more. According to ESPN’s Derek Tyson, Oklahoma State could be in the mix after recently extending a scholarship offer.
“Georgia, TCU, Michigan and Florida has been on me pretty hard,” he told Tyson. “Oklahoma State just jumped in to the picture; they want to start using a tight end too. Baylor and all the schools I visited in Texas, they are all fresh and new to me so I like those schools a lot.”
As of now, he has four official visits planned to TCU, Michigan, Southern Cal and TCU. He plans to have a fifth official visit set-up, and he says that could be between Oregon, Alabama, and “Okie State” as he calls it.
With a recruit of Nauta’s caliber, just being mentioned in the same conversation is a pretty big deal. If the Cowboys and new coach Jason McEndoo can reel him in for a visit, anything could happen from there. But the establishment of the “Cowboy back” position in Stillwater appears to be making a big impression on recruits.
Check out some of his highlights below, and you’ll understand why he’s a five-star prospect.
