OSU Drops Out of the Top 25 following TCU Loss
For the first time this season the Cowboys are unranked.
It was expected that Oklahoma State would take a hit in the polls after losing to unranked TCU on Saturday, but the loss landed the Cowboys outside of the top 25 in the AP poll and Amway Coaches poll.
OSU is effectively No. 26 based on the coaches’ votes received and is the fourth team outside of the AP’s top 25.
Around the league, both Iowa State and Oklahoma benefited from wins this weekend. The two teams that will meet in Arlington to fight for a Big 12 crown are at 10/11 and 13/12, respectively.
Texas sneaked back to No. 23 in both rankings after beating up on Kansas State. Tulsa, which has won six straight after dropping its season opener to OSU, is up to 18/19.
