OSU Goes White-Black-White for Camping World Bowl

Published

Oklahoma State will end its season with the same helmet it started with. The “Patriot Pete” helmet that OSU unveiled for its season opener against Tulsa will be headlining the Cowboys white-black-white combo for the Camping World Bowl matchup with Virginia Tech — with a tweak or two.

To match the W-B-W combination, the helmet striping will be inverted from the one worn with the W-O-W combo worn against Tulsa.

The facemask is also swapped out for a black grill to match the black unis. This is a great look overall and I think the helmet is the star here.

This is the first time the Cowboys have gone W-B-W since the 2015 Kansas State game, with the old uni set and the white “medium Pete” helmet, also with a black facemask. This is just a really solid look all around and finishes the season on a nice note.

And it will be a great uniform matchup with Virginia Tech’s inverted stripe look.
