OSU Hoops: Five-Star Prospect Moussa Kamissoko Visits Oklahoma State

It was a big weekend for Cowboy Football, but Cowboy Basketball also might’ve taken advantage of it.

Oklahoma State hosted Class of 2027 five-star prospect Moussa “Paris” Kamissoko, a 6-foot-8 wing, on a visit this weekend along with OSU’s 2027 commit Tyson Pogi.

Kamissoko is the No. 14 player in the 247Sports Composite ranking for the 2027 class. Along with his offer to OSU, Kamissoko has offers to BYU, Syracuse, Florida State, Virginia, Illinois, UConn, Baylor, Kentucky and others.

He’s from the Bronx but is set to play his final prep ball at SPIRE Academy in Ohio.

Kamissoko played with the PSA Cardinals on Nike’s EYBL circuit this summer, where in 18 games he averaged 16.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.4 steals a contest while shooting 35% from 3.

His EYBL season-high came in a game against Team Why Not (shout out Russell Westbrook), where Kamissoko scored 30 points on 11-for-17 shooting. He also ripped down 10 rebounds and collected three steals.

At Peach Jam in July, Kamissoko recorded three double-doubles in five games. In one of the games he didn’t have a double-double, he scored 26 points and had eight rebounds.

Kamissoko is making the most of the limit on official visits being taken away, as 247Sports’ Dushawn London reported in August that Kamissoko has visits lined up to Florida State (Aug. 28), Syracuse (Sept. 3), Virginia (Sept. 5), OSU (Sept. 12), BYU (Sept. 15), Illinois (Sept. 18), UConn (Sept. 25), Louisville (Oct. 6) and Baylor (Oct. 16).

Kamissoko has also shared photos of those visits to Florida State and Syracuse, and for good measure, he also shared photos from a visit to Providence. So, there is still work to be done for Steve Lutz and his staff to secure Kamissoko’s commitment.

It certainly doesn’t hurt that Kamissoko got to experience the OSU fanbase at its best this weekend during the OSU football team’s upset win against Oregon. Kamissoko was also visiting the same time as Pogi, OSU’s 2027 point guard commit, so that likely helped, as well.
