OSU Makes Offer to Bixby Star Braylin Presley
The Pokes are in the hunt for the most electric in-state talent in 2022.
Coming off a massive showing on national television last week in which he amassed 419 all-purpose yards and found the end zone against Booker T. Washington on five different occasions, Bixby star Braylin Presley finally has an Oklahoma State offer.
Presley, the younger brother of OSU freshman Brennan Presley, announced the offer on Wednesday afternoon:
I wrote last week in my recap of his nationally televised game that the OSU offer was likely a matter of time, and it’s clear the big game put him over the top. Since that showing, OSU and Western Kentucky have extended scholarship offers, and more are likely on the way.
Presley is a Tyreek Hill-type player who carries the ball out of the backfield but also can split out wide and catch balls down the field. There has perhaps been some trepidation that his 5-foot-8 frame may not translate to the next level, but there is evidence to the contrary, where he constantly torches defenses, is coming up now on a weekly basis. Film don’t lie.
OSU is seemingly in a good spot here to land Presley considering his older brother is on OSU’s roster and that the school isn’t too far from home, but it’s still a waiting game. He won’t technically sign with a school until December of 2021 at the earliest, and the likelihood that other big dogs try to get in the mix here seems high after the season he’s put together thus far.
