Oklahoma State is getting in early on a versatile talent from an in-state powerhouse.

On Wednesday, Bixby’s Luke Hasz announced a Cowboy offer via his Twitter account. It’s the first scholarship offer for the Class of 2023 prospect, but expect more schools to follow, and quickly.

Hasz plays both ways for the Spartans, lining up both as a wide receiver/tight end and an edge rusher, but the Cowboys are offering the rangy, big-bodied pass catcher as a Cowboy Back.

At 6-foot-4 and 218 pounds — and with still two years of high school left — Hasz as a lot of room to grow and a big frame to fill out before Rob Glass & Co. would even get ahold of him.

“I’m going to continue to work on getting stronger, faster, and technique stuff,” Hasz told 247Sports. “I have talked to a couple of other schools, but Oklahoma State was the first to offer.”

Hasz has been productive in his sophomore season, hauling in 30 catches for 677 yards and nine touchdowns in 10 games. He also racked up seven total tackles, a tackle for loss and four QB hurries coming off the edge.

This is OSU’s first reported offer for a Cowboy Back in the 2023 cycle. Hasz also plays basketball for Bixby, and we know Mike Gundy loves a two-sport athlete.

Bixby is the home of current Cowboy wide receiver Brennan Presley and his younger brother Braylin — who holds a 2022 offer from OSU — is a Spartan teammate of Hasz.

Take a peek at Hasz’s sophomore highlights.
