OSU Offers Colorado Offensive Line Commit Austin Johnson

Oklahoma State offensive line coach John Henson has been plenty aggressive on the recruiting trail of late, handing out offers this week to a pair of offensive center prospects in both the 2019 and 2020 classes. His latest move may be the most aggressive.

On Sunday, 2019 offensive guard prospect Austin Johnson, who is currently committed to Colorado, announced that Henson had extended an offer his direction despite his verbal pledge to the in-state Buffs since January.

Johnson is just the latest offer to a Littleton, Colorado native, too, and specifically a Highlands Ranch product. OSU also has offers out to Johnson’s teammates, Drake Nugent and Michael Lee, both of which are part of a bruising offensive line for the high school.

So if you’re keeping track at home, that’s three offers to three different offensive linemen who are all on the same school. From Colorado!

  • 2019 OG Austin Johnson
  • 2019 OT Michael Lynn
  • 2019 OC Drake Nugent

Henson must really like what he sees out of the Colorado trio, because it appears he may be efforting for a coup de Colorado in the 2019 cycle out of Littleton.
