OSU Opens as Slight Underdog vs. Baylor on the Road in Week 5
OSU is an underdog for the first time all season.

To this point in the season, OSU is 3-0 against nonconference foes having been moderate to major favorites in each of the three games. On Saturday, though, it will be an underdog for the first time all season.
Opening odds at Caesars Sportsbook have the Pokes as 2.5-point road dogs vs. reigning Big 12 champion Baylor in Waco. OSU was an underdog thrice all season last year and finished 2-1 in those games, all of which were on the road.
Last season against Baylor in the Big 12 title game, OSU closed as a touchdown favorite before ultimately falling in heartbreaking fashion, 21-16. OSU was favored by four points in their first matchup before going on to win 24-14.
Baylor this season doesn’t quite have the same look that Baylor had last season, but it enters Week 5 undefeated in league play. The Bears (3-1) have blowout wins over Albany and Texas State on their resume, a somewhat close shave win over Iowa State and a 26-20 loss to a really good BYU team as well.
