OSU Pro Day Roundup: Chuba Hubbard, Tylan Wallace Shine
Here’s how OSU’s pro-hopefuls fared on Thursday.
Editor’s note: This article was updated after official figures were released.
A busy morning for Oklahoma State on the hoops side with Cade Cunningham declaring for the NBA Draft coincided with an equally noisy morning on the football side, as players convened in Stillwater for the 2021 pro day and representatives from all 32 NFL teams were on hand to take notes.
Those involved for OSU were: Chuba Hubbard, Tylan Wallace, Teven Jenkins and Rodarius Williams, who are all likely to be drafted this month. Jordan McCray, Phillip Redwine-Bryant, Calvin Bundage, Cameron Murray, Ry Schneider, Dillon Stoner and Amen Ogbongbemiga also participated.
Here is a roundup of how the players did. As we gather more results this post will be updated.
Chuba Hubbard
Height: 6000
Weight: 210
40: 4.48
Vertical: 36.0
In a stunning turn of events, OSU’s blazing running back is … still fast.
Tylan Wallace
Height: 5113
Weight: 194
40: 4.48
Vertical: 33.0
3 Cone: 6.97
Back in February, Wallace was clocked at a sub-4.40 40-yard dash at the EXOS Pro Day. He didn’t quite hit that mark in Stillwater, but fella was still flyin’.
Dillon Stoner
Height: 6001
Weight: 194
40: 4.51
Vertical: 37.0
The future Patriots receiver former OSU receiver had a nice little time of 4.51 in the 40. No surprise for the former track star and state title winner in high school in the 400M.
Teven Jenkins
Height: 6057
Weight: 317
40: 5.01
Vertical: 32.5
Bench Press: 36
Jenkins’ time was more than respectable for a big guy.
Jenkins also had a nice show of strength — literally — by doing 36 reps on the bench press, which is approximately 36 more than I’ve done in a month. The 36 reps would’ve ranked third among O-linemen at last year’s combine.
Rodarius Williams
Height: 5116
Weight: 189
40: 4.50
Vertical: 36.5
3 Cone: 6.98
Amen Ogbongbemiga
Height: 6007
Weight: 231
40: 4.66
Vertical: 32.0
Bench Press: 24
