OSU Recent LB Offer is Emmanuel Ogbah’s Second Cousin

Amen Ogbongbemiga.
Try to say that five times fast.
Ogbongbemiga is a 2016 linebacker who received a scholarship offer from OSU over the weekend.
Born in Nigeria, Amen moved to the United States in 2003 before eventually moving back to Calgary, Canada in 2011. Since then, he has slowly gained notoriety in recruiting circles, and his first Power Five offer came from the Pokes on Sunday. At 6-foot-1, 210 pounds, he is an ideal fit for the Cowboys at the linebacker position.
The good news for OSU is that they may have a leg up on the competition; Ogbongbemiga is also second cousins with defensive-end Emmanuel Ogbah. You may have heard of him. The two were able to link up at camp over the weekend.

According to Damon Sayles, his trip to Stillwater seemed to be a success.
“The trip was pretty good; I like the campus there,” Ogbongbemiga told Bleacher Report. “It has really good facilities. I liked it; I liked it a lot.
“When I talked to Coach Gundy, the first thing he said to me was that he wanted to let me know he had an offer for me. He let me know he really wants me at Oklahoma State. Coach Spencer was the one who originally started recruiting me, and he made me feel at home there.”
Early evaluations of talented prospects have led to commitments from the likes of Nick Starkel and John Kolar in recent years, and only time will tell if Gundy’s recruiting influence can extend north of the states.
