Softball America released its preseason poll on Thursday, which had the Cowgirls as the No. 14 team in the country. That puts Oklahoma State fourth among Big 12 conference members behind No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 7 Texas and No. 11 Baylor. Here is the full ranking:

OSU opens its 2024 season with a Feb. 8 matchup against Cal State-Northridge before participating in the Lynn Russell Miller Classic in Riverside, California. The Cowgirls’ first home game is Feb. 27 against South Dakota State.
