Kenny Gajewski has landed a second Big 12 transfer on this fine Saturday.

Houston two-way player Madison Hartley announced her commitment to Oklahoma State on Saturday evening. That news came after Utah transfer catcher Kennedy Proctor announced she has also pledged to be a Cowgirl.

Hartley primarily played either first base or was the Cougars’ designated player this past season, but she also threw eight innings in the circle.

As a batter, she hit .345 with 20 home runs and 47 RBIs as a sophomore in 2026. That home run total tied for third in the conference, while she led her team in batting average, RBIs, walks drawn, on-base percentage and slugging percentage.

She had more success in the circle as a freshman than she did this past season. In 41 innings across 23 pitching appearances as a freshman, Hartley had a 4.95 ERA and a 3-2 record. She had an 18.38 ERA in her limited work this past season.

That would lead me to believe that Hartley is likely coming to Stillwater to be a fielder/hitter first. Lexi McDonald slotted in at first for OSU midway through this past season, but it was her senior year.

Hartley hails from Georgetown High School (Texas) and played club ball with the Texas Bombers.

With Hartley and Proctor committing, the Cowgirls have gained 34 home runs from last season on Saturday alone.
