Oklahoma State coach John Smith said at the Big 12 Wrestling Championships last weekend that the Cowboys needed more bonus points, so he went out and found some. And he didn’t have to look far.

Kruz Goff, a three-time state champion from Blackwell, announced via Instagram on Tuesday that he committed to OSU. Goff is a 215-pounder in the Class of 2025, meaning he’ll likely be a four-time state champion by the time he gets to Stillwater, where he’ll probably wrestle at 197 pounds.

Goff pinned his way to his third state title as a junior, notching a fall in all seven matches of the state and regional tournaments. He was 37-1 this season, only losing to Wyoming Seminary’s Jude Correa 3-1. Correa is the No. 5 pound-for-pound prospect in the country in the 2025 class, according to Flo, and committed to Michigan. Of the 25 match results from this season available on Flo, Goff recorded a fall in all but one — that lone loss to Correa.

OSU already has two other commitments for the 2025 class, which will be headlined by No. 3 pound-for-pound prospect LaDarion Lockett, who is also an in-state product from Stillwater. Lockett also won a third state title this year and will likely be a four-timer when his preps career concludes.

The Cowboys’ first commitment for the class was Tuttle’s Beau Hickman, who Flo has ranked as the No. 57 prospect in the class.
