The Cowboys cracked the top 10 for the first time this season.

Oklahoma State was at No. 9 in the latest NWCA Coaches Poll that was released Tuesday. The Cowboys moved up two spots from No. 11 after wins against then-No. 20 Lehigh and then-No. 18 Oklahoma over the weekend, improving to 3-0.

The Big 12 now has three teams inside the top 10 with OSU’s emergence. Defending conference champion Missouri is at No. 3, while Iowa State sits at No. 6. ISU is the only team of those three with a loss at 3-1. The Cyclones lost to No. 4 Iowa 18-14 on Nov. 26.

Other ranked Big 12 members include South Dakota State (14), OU (18), West Virginia (20) and Northern Iowa (25).
