OSU Wrestling: Jordan Williams Commits to the Cowboys
The Cowboys pick up a commitment from the No. 4 prospect in the 2022 recruiting class.
Oklahoma State Wrestling picked up an absolutely huge commitment on Sunday from in-state product Jordan Williams.
Williams, who wrestles for Collinsville High School, is the highest-ranked prospect in the state of Oklahoma in the 2022 recruiting class.
The in-state star, who is nicknamed the “Ice-man” is the No. 4 overall prospect in the 2022 recruiting class, according to FloWrestling, and also ranks No. 4 at his 138-pound weight class.
After loaded classes for 2020 and 2021, the Cowboys have high-level true freshman at the upper and lower weights and have some stars coming in around the middle for 2022. The 141-149 weight is probably the main spot you really would think the Cowboys might need another recruit, and they just filled it with one of the best available juniors in the entire country.
Jordan Williams was a back-to-back Cadet Fargo champion and a 2019 Super 32 Champion. This addition coupled with the recruiting classes of 2020 and 2021 for Oklahoma State should make the Cowboys primed for a potential run of NCAA titles moving forward. Williams is the first commitment for the Cowboys in the 2022 recruiting class.
