OSU Wrestling: Stevo Poulin Lists OSU in Top Five

Viral sensation and Cadet World Team Member Stevo Poulin lists OSU as one of his potential school choices

Three-time New York State champion and Cadet World Team member Stevo Poulin has listed OSU among his top five schools according to FloWrestling.

The junior out of Shenendehowa, New York is probably most well known for the viral highlight video above of him as a 9-year-old. Stevo, who could have just been known for the video has developed into one of the top recruits in the country.

He’s currently the No. 8-ranked wrestler in the 2021 recruiting class according to Flo’s big board. Stevo made the Cadet World team this past summer with OSU commit Kyle Haas.

Poulin wrestled at 113 this past season and projects as a college 125. The Cowboys already seem pretty loaded up with lower weight recruits out of the 2020 class as OSU has Jakason Burks and Trevor Mastrogiovanni on their way in next season, but some see a chance that Burks and Mastro both outgrow 125 which would make Stevo a solid fit.

The other schools on Poulin’s list include Lehigh, Penn State, Ohio State, and NC State.
