OSU’s Latest Football Commitment is a Trick Shot Artist
Ehrlich is a talented Stillwater product who is staying home.
OSU landed a preferred walk-on commitment on Thursday from Stillwater native Osker Ehrlich, giving the Cowboys a 2022 commitment at the long snapper position — and a trick shot artist to boot.
The service Rubio Long Snapping ranks him as a five-star prospect and No. 19 in his class at the position. Their evaluation of him is as follows: “Perfect mentality, size, athleticism, spiral, speed and consistency. Freshman Year Starter at any College/University, All-Conference on Day 1 of College, Scholarship Pick.”

However, it’s the trick shots in his bag that really catch your eye. I mean, I’m no long snapper, but the precision required to pull some of these off is pretty impressive. (Also, if you can hit a clay pigeon that seems like it should be an auto-offer from every school in the Bible Belt.)
On a more serious note, Ehrlich does look like he has the tools be a contributor at OSU. Plus, he can do something that apparently Derrick Henry does, which is probably one thing more than myself or anyone else reading this can say.
If you want a further evaluation of what his prospects are, here’s an in-depth scout from Chris Rubio himself after seeing him live. Seems like an overall solid get for OSU.
