Peter Uihlein: ‘Come On, Daddy Wants a New Car’

I’m sorry, I can’t stop laughing.

Peter Uihlein was playing in the European Masters last week, or as the English probably call it, “The Masters,” and he hit this tee shot on the 11th hole.

The catch? An ace would have won him a new BMW. The audio of Uhilein begging his ball to find the cup only highlights my notion that golfers talking either to their golf balls or to their caddies, should be an edited weekly television show.

I would absolutely watch that.

“Come on, daddy wants a new car!”

“No, no, no!”

Uihlein went on to finish T37 on the week.
