PFB Predictions: Oklahoma State-Kansas

Published

on

Oklahoma State ends its 2017 campaign on Saturday against Kansas in Stillwater. Let’s get to the picks.

Kyle Porter

Pick: Oklahoma State 56-14
Spread: OSU covers
Player of the Game: Mason Rudolph

Oklahoma State ends as tantalizingly as it started, and we all talk about what could have been for the next few months.

Kyle Boone

Pick: Oklahoma State 69, KU 19
Spread: Push
Player of the Game: Mason Rudolph

No. 2 puts the criticism of K-State behind him and has a monstrous home finale at BPS, tossing 5 touchdowns to 5 different receivers and putting up yet another 400 yard passing day. Pokes roll big.

Kyle Cox

Pick: Oklahoma State 52, Kansas 17
Spread: KU covers on a back-door garbage time score.
Player of the Game: J.D. King

Oklahoma State gets up early and the seniors get to take a victory lap in the third quarter. Gundy proceeds to let Cornelius get some warmup reps for next season and King has 20 carries for a hunsky and 2 TDs.

Justin Southwell

Pick: Oklahoma State 49, KU 0
Spread: OSU covers
POTG: James Washington

The President will surpass Rashaun Woods in career receiving yards and become a lock for the Biletnikoff Award.
Kansas has been shutout twice this season (Iowa State and TCU). They’ve been held to single digits against OU and Baylor. It would be embarrassing if OSU’s defense gave up 9+ points to the Jayhawks. I think they get the shutout and take that momentum into bowl season.

Phillip Slavin

Pick: Oklahoma State 55, Kansas 17
Spread: OSU doesn’t cover
POTG: James Washington

James Washington and Mason Rudolph shine on Senior Day with the two connecting for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns to lock up the Biletnikoff for Washington. KU scores early and then again late against the backups.

Ryan Harris

Pick: Oklahoma State 56-17
Spread: Oklahoma State doesn’t cover
Player of the Game: #Rudolph2Washington

Mason Rudolph will hook up with James Washington deep on a number of occasions against Kansas. Marcell Ateman will have a big day as well and give me a Ramon Richards interception one last time. #Rudolph2Washington will be on display one more time in BPS as the Pokes roll over Kansas on senior day.

Matt Harris

Pick: Oklahoma State 56-14
Spread: Pokes cover
Player of the game: Give me both Mason and James on Senior Day

Maybe the best senior class in OSU history will play their final game in BPS on Saturday and they will perform like it against a bad Kansas team. Mason hits James for two deep balls, Marcell has some nice snags and the defense looks competent for the first time since West Virginia.
