PFB Predictions: The One Where Everybody Picks OU in a Rout
It is not pretty. ?
With the 113th edition of Bedlam on deck, it’s time to submit our picks. It’s been a, uh, not optimistic week around here, and as we’ve gotten closer and closer to game time on Saturday, the less and less confident we have become that Oklahoma State has a chance to pull off a miracle win in Norman.
Lightning, it is said, doesn’t strike twice.
Oklahoma is now a 19.5-point favorite Saturday. Same line as 2014 Bedlam.

Kyle Porter: OU 49 | OSU 17 — The 2007 score. This will feel like 2007. I do not look forward to it.
Kyle Boone: OU 54 | OSU 17 — ♫ Hello darkness my old friend ♫
Kyle Cox: OU 48 | OSU 31 — I planned on talking myself into picking the upset, but my heart and my brain can’t come together on this one, and it’s not opposite day.
Marshall Scott: OU 56 | OSU 28 — Of all the comparisons between this season’s Bedlam game and the 2014 Bedlam game, there is a variable some people aren’t taking into account: Cody Thomas isn’t going to be playing quarterback for OU. Kyler Murray has been ridiculous all season, and he is going to be ridiculous against a defense that has struggled against running quarterbacks. I don’t expect this one to be pretty, but what do I know? I have a 3-6 prediction record this season.
Grant Newton: OU 55 | OSU 33 —Â The last time Oklahoma State lost to Baylor, K-State, and Tech in the same year? 1936. They did not score in any of those games in 1936. BUT, they did manage to put up 13 points against Oklahoma in a 35-13 loss the same year. To calculate my predicted score I added 13 points to the average point total against Baylor, K-State, and Tech (20) and have OU winning by the same margin achieved in ’36, 22.
Kyler Murray is not as good as Baker Mayfield, but the comparison is much closer than I first imagined. I think the Pokes actually have a good day running the ball, but cannot slow down the Sooner offense and head into the final two conference games needing a win to get bowl eligible.
Dustin Ragusa: OUÂ 55 | OSU 31 — I hate this game.
