Portal Update: OSU to Host Former Texas OL Connor Stroh, FIU DL Xion Chapman
Plus, Eric Morris offers one of his former offensive linemen.
Portal updates are coming fast. The Cowboys’ new coaching staff has sent out a slew of offers and several of those offers have scheduled visits to Stillwater. We added an updated earlier in the day, but there were a couple more scheduled visits and a couple of more offers announced later Friday, including Eric Morris’ starting left tackle at UNT.
Let’s start with the visits.
Connor Stroh | Offensive Line | Texas (Visiting)
The Cowboys will look to add a big guy up front with both experience and eligibility remaining.

Stroh is a 6-foot-7, 341-pound lineman who spent the last three seasons in Austin. After a redshirt season in 2023 and not seeing any of the field in 2024, Stroh started the first five games of the 2025 season at left guard. He played in 10 total games as the Longhorns shuffled around their O-line due to injuries.
Stroh enters the portal as a graduate transfer with two years of eligibility remaining. He committed to UT as part of the 2023 class as a three-star prospect and the No. 41 OT in the country according to 247Sports Composite ranking.
Xion Chapman | Defensive Line | FIU (Visiting)
The Cowboys are also hosting a prospect that could help them beef up their defensive line.

Chapman will be in Stillwater the week after a scheduled visit at Penn State.
The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder played 12 games for FIU, racking up 15 total tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks. He also broke up one pass, blocked one kick and forced a fumble.
He spent 2023 at D-II school Lackawanna College where he recorded 15 tackles, five TFLs and two sacks in nine games. He will be a redshirt junior in 2026 with two years of eligibility.
Braydon Nelson | Offensive Tackle | UNT (Offered)
Another of Eric Morris’ former players has an offer from Morris’ current school. UNT offensive lineman Braydon Nelson tweeted out an offer from OSU on Friday, as well as others from the likes of UCLA, Baylor and Houston.
The 6-foot-4, 321-pound tackle started all 13 games for the Mean Green in 2025, 11 at left tackle and two at right tackle. He was a second-team all-conference selection and posted a 73.2 offensive grade according to Pro Football Focus. As a true freshman in 2024, Nelson appeared in 12 games and started 11, making the PFF FBS All-Freshman Team.
Nolan Atkins | Long Snapper | SMU (Offered)
The Cowboys are also looking for some help in special teams.
