The Reload is PFB’s recruiting recap, catching you up to speed on the latest news and rumors surrounding Oklahoma State recruiting, with an ear to the ground for what to expect in the future.

Underwood offers 5-foot-7 baller from Texas

Underwood and his staff made waves on Thursday in the hoops world, offering 5-foot-7 point guard Bryce Cook his first Div. I scholarship.

Cook is listed at 5-foot-7 on some sites but also listed as small as 5-foot-5. Notably, Cook, the South Grand Prairie prospect, is also former teammates with 2016 signee Cameron McGriff. As you can see above, the two linked up this week during his visit, where the offer was extended following his unofficial.

I straight up love this offer for Underwood. Not only is OSU the first to offer (He’s a 2019 prospect!), but they’re also shaking the boat by offering a young man who has incredible game despite his smaller stature. If you can ball, you can ball. And I really like the fact that the OSU staff has already made an early evaluation on him and is the first to jump in. That shows a whole lot of confidence from the staff.

New 2018 Linebacker Offer to No. 1 All-Name List Prospect

Lovejoy, Texas prospect Bumper Pool made an unofficial visit to Stillwater on Thursday and OSU extended a scholarship during his time.

The 6-2 thumper from Allen already has garnered offers from Alabama, Michigan, Arkansas and Baylor. And don’t be surprised to see A&M jump into the mix today, as he attends the A&M camp in Dallas.

Twins Visiting

Tylan and Tracin Wallace, two standout OSU commitments from South Hills, Texas, say they’ll be in Stillwater this weekend for some of Mike Gundy’s high school camps. Tylan is an ESPN top 100 receiver and Tracin, the current quarterback from South Hills, may be looking to transition into an athlete role at the next level. Anytime they visit, that’s good news for OSU. The two are a high-profile duo from Fort Worth who not only bring notoriety, but also a following. Keeping them on board will be critical to keeping OSU’s 2017 class on a successful trajectory.

Another Fitzgerald Prospect Picks up OSU Offer

Oklahoma State is back in Georgia again with a new offer to a Purple Hurricane. They’ve already had success in the area with the current commitment of Fitzgerald running back JD King. And Jason McEndoo is working his magic with tight end Lecitus Smith. The new offer OSU has extended has gone to James Graham, Fitzgerald’s dual-threat quarterback who is an absolutely stunning talent.

Fitzgerald has a knack for stashing high-level talent, and OSU has a knack for uncovering it. Graham, the 2018 prospect, picked up an offer from OSU this week as a running back/athlete, but has the athletic ability to play literally anywhere on the field. I talked with one observer who saw him at the Virginia Tech Atlanta Satellite Camp last weekend, who said Graham was impressive and was the “fastest man” at the camp.

His offer count is quickly skyrocketing with 9 offers now from the likes of VT, Miami, Cincy, Maryland, Tulane and now OSU.

Louisiana Running Back Planning Visit

Travis Etienne, an elite back from Jennings, LA, is planning a visit to Stillwater although a date has yet to be set, a source close to Etienne tells me. The 6-foot, 200-pound back named OSU in his top 10 recently, however he has also named the Alabama Crimson Tide his favorite and is looking hard at several SEC schools including Arkansas, Mizzou, Tennessee, and LSU (who hasn’t offered, yet).

You see the really fast one? That’s Etienne.
