The Cowboys will reportedly make a trip to New Jersey in Year 1 of the Steve Lutz era.

Oklahoma State is set to play Seton Hall in the Big East-Big 12 Battle, according to Jon Rothstein. It would be just the second time OSU has played the Pirates, with the other instance coming in the 2000 Sweet 16. OSU won that game 68-66.

Seton Hall went 25-12 this past season, the program’s second under Shaheen Holloway. That wasn’t enough to get the Pirates into the NCAA Tournament, but they did end up winning the NIT.

The Big East-Big 12 Battle has happened annually since 2019. OSU is just 1-4 in the event.

2019: vs. Georgetown — L, 81-74
2020: at Marquette — W, 70-62
2021: vs. Xavier — L, 77-71
2022: at UConn — L, 74-64
2023: vs. Creighton — L, 79-65

It’s been a tight conference-vs-conference affair, though, as the Big 12 won one year, the Big East won one year and the conferences have tied the other three times.

Here is a look at the full slate for the upcoming season, per Rothstein:

Baylor at UConn
Kansas at Creighton
Butler at Houston
Marquette at Iowa State
Kansas State at Saint John’s
Xavier at TCU
Cincinnati at Villanova
BYU at Providence
Oklahoma State at Seton Hall
Georgetown at West Virginia
DePaul at Texas Tech
