Aycock is coming off her lowest season in terms of efficiency and record. She turned in a 5.64 ERA and went just 0-1, appearing in 13 games and starting five. Her best outing came in a lost at UCF in April, but she pitched four 1/3 innings and logged three strikeouts.
She spent the past three seasons at OSU, starting with a 9-2 year in 2023 for which she earned Big 12 All-Freshman honors. After logging a 3.22 ERA and going 9-2 as a frosh, Aycock went 7-3 as a sophomore, turning in an ERA of 3.62.
All in all, Aycock’s production, and likely her consistency, suffered thanks to an abundance of arms on OSU’s staff with the likes of Ruby Meylan, Katie Kutz and RyLee Candrall. She leaves with a career ERA of 3.31, a record of 16-6 and 124 career strikeouts.
