When the Cowboys offense squares off against Texas A&M in Houston in two weeks, there will be a big hole in the front of the Aggies defense.

Aggies sack leader Justin Madubuike announced on Twitter that he would forego his senior season and declare for the NFL Draft. He will also sit out of A&M’s bowl matchup with Oklahoma State to instead focus on draft preparations.

The 6-foot-3, 304-pound Madubuike is a load to handle in the Aggies interior front. ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper projected the junior as the fourth-best draft-eligible DT in the class.

His 11.5 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks and seven QB hurries are all team-highs for the Aggies. His 45 total tackles and 18 solo both lead all Texas A&M linemen, as well. He also has an interception and a forced fumble.

So whether it’s Spencer Sanders or Dru Brown taking snaps for Oklahoma State during the Texas Bowl, the QB1 job for OSU may have just gotten a little bit easier.
