Texas WR and OSU Target Nearing Commitment

Wide receiver target Tren’Davian Dickson has long been on the radar for OSU, and he tells Scout he will be making his decision before the end of July.
Dickson’s top six includes Alabama, OSU, Texas, Texas A&M, USC, and Baylor – where he was previously committed. Dickson is a stud prospect who set a national record last season at Navasota High School with 39 touchdown catches – including this one-handed snag in the state championship game.
Dickson is visiting Alabama this week and also expects to take a visit to Texas A&M before committing around July 31. A&M is the 247sports favorite to land the four-star prospect, and the 20 minute drive from home to College Station could be one of the main reasons.
Dickson has already visited Stillwater once, and he had great things to say this weekend reflecting on OSU. “When I took a visit there, it was like some of the nicest stuff there I’d ever seen. And then Coach Gundy was real cool, and Coach Dunn was real nice so I like them two coaches there.”
Talking about his decision, it’s clear that the coaches will play a factor in his decision as well. Coach Dunn and Coach Gundy seem to have some work on their hands if they intend to pluck Dickson from the hometown favorite of Texas A&M.
