Much of the new Oklahoma State’s staffs recruiting efforts since taking over in Stillwater had been focused on the transfer portal, but with OSU’s 2026 roster nearing completion, there has been a wave of 2027 prospects announce offers to OSU.

Among that group, there have been a trio of 2027 quarterbacks. Quarterback is always a fun position to keep eyes on throughout the recruiting trail, but it’s particularly interesting given there is a new staff in Stillwater and Eric Morris has his quarterback guru reputation.

So, let’s take a look at those three QBs.

Jake Nawrot, Illinois

Listed at 6-foot-5, 200 pounds, Nawrot was a highly regarded prospect coming into the new year, but the turn of the calendar has seen his stock soar even more.

Nawrot announced his OSU offer on Jan. 17 after a discussion with offensive coordinator/QB coach Sean Brophy. Since the start of the year, he’s also announced offers to Kansas State, Rutgers, Iowa, Washington and Wisconsin.

As a junior at Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois, Nawrot completed 71% of his passes, throwing for 3,078 yards and 41 touchdowns to just two interceptions. He also ran for 124 yards and eight more touchdowns.

Here’s about 11 minutes of ridiculously accurate passing:

Morris has noted he likes multisport athletes. With his 6-5 frame, Nawrot also excels on the hardwood.

247Sports considers Nawrot the No. 22 quarterback in the 2027 class, with the Composite Ranking listing him as the No. 370 overall player in the cycle and a Top 10 player from the state of Illinois.

Luke Babin, Texas

Babin is currently committed to Vanderbilt and has been since September. He announced his OSU offer on Friday — the first offer he has announced since his commitment.

Listed at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds, Babin is a four-star prospect, per Rivals. The service has him listed as the No. 285 player in the 2027 class and the No. 20 quarterback in the cycle. He had announced offers to Texas Tech, Baylor, TCU, Houston and others before his Vandy commitment.

Out of Woodville High School (a town in southeast Texas getting close to the Louisiana border), Babin threw for 3,063 yards and 40 touchdowns as a junior in 2025. He had just five interceptions while completing 63% of his passes. He also ran for 562 yards and seven more scores.

In a game against Trinity in September, Babin threw for 365 yards and eight touchdowns.

Blake Roskopf, Arizona

How’s 6-foot-5, 235 pounds sound?

Roskopf is a four-star prospect who 247Sports’ lists as the No. 203 overall player in the 2027 class, the No. 11 QB in the cycle and the No. 2 player from the state of Arizona.

He announced his OSU offer on Saturday, with the Cowboys joining the likes of Georgia, UCLA, Auburn, Ole Miss, Indiana, Tennessee and others that have offered Roskopf.

The same day Roskopf announced his OSU offer, one of his top targets at Desert Edge High School also announced an offer to the Pokes in Dayvon Standard. Standard is a 2026 prospect with OSU being his first Power Conference offer.

Roskopf threw for 2,815 yards and 37 touchdowns to eight interceptions in his junior season. He also ran for two scores and completed 66% of his pass attempts. In a game against Millennium, Roskopf completed 15 passes for 322 yards and six scores.

He’s got a cannon. There’s a throw in his highlights he makes from about his own 12-yard line that the receiver catches near the opposing team’s 36-yard line. That’ll play.
