Three-Star Linebacker Jordan Crook Commits to Oklahoma State
The Cowboys are en fuego in 2022.
The Cowboys’ coaching staff stays hot in the 2022 cycle.
Three-star linebacker Jordan Crook committed to Oklahoma State on Tuesday, picking the Pokes over offers from Baylor, Michigan, Arkansas, Nebraska and others.
Out of Duncanville, Texas, Crook is the No. 445 player in the 2022 class. That makes him the No. 14 inside linebacker in the cycle and the No. 61 prospect from Texas.
At 6-foot, 225 pounds, Crook had 93 total tackles as a junior this past season. He added seven tackles for loss and six sacks to his stat line. He also picked off three passes and returned two of those interceptions for touchdowns.
Behind Crook, Duncanville went 10-2 during the 2020 season with one loss coming to national power IMG Academy (FL). The Panthers made it to the semifinals of the Texas 6A Division-I State Playoffs.
The Cowboys have long been pursuing Crook, offering him in June of 2019.
Crook is the Cowboys’ third-highest rated commit in the class and OSU’s top-ranked defensive commit in the cycle. The only players he is behind among OSU commits are running backs CJ Brown and Ollie Gordon.
It’s early in the 2022 cycle, but Crook’s commitment gives the Cowboys’ the No. 10 class in the country.
