Top 70 Big Man Jaylin Williams Announces Top 7, Includes OSU
The Cowboys among the finalists for a four-star big.
The basketball recruiting news has picked back up as of late.
Jaylin Williams, a 6-foot-9, four-star center, cut his list of potential school down to seven Wednesday night. Oklahoma State, Illinois, Auburn, UConn, Iowa State, Texas A&M and Arkansas made the cut. Out of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Williams is ranked 67th in the 2020 class and 11th among centers in his class.
Williams is AAU teammates with OSU commit Davonte Davis on Woodz Elite, and OSU has long been in the running to secure Williams’ talents.
Williams took an official visit to Stillwater in June. That visit counted for his junior year visits, meaning if he so chooses, he could visit Stillwater again. Rivals’ Corey Evans reports that Williams hasn’t scheduled his senior round of visits, and it’s unsure whether Williams will sign in the early signing period.
