We already know Travis Ford is reaching out to top talent in the class of 2016, and Monday night it was reported he extended an offer to 2017 prospect Brady Manek.

Manek is a 6-7 small forward from Harrah, Oklahoma who already holds offers from the University of Oklahoma, Tulsa, and Mercer.
Being a 2017 prospect, he still has some unpolished parts of his game he will need to improve on. His ball handling skills aren’t what they need to be in order to play a stretch four type of position, and he will need to put on a lot of body mass in order to bang down low and hold his own at the next level.
On the plus, he projects to be an excellent stretch four assuming he can fill out his 6-7 frame. A quick glance at his film suggests he can shoot from outside and runs the floor as well as any of the guards on the floor.
Travis Ford has shown a recent trend in recruiting shooting forwards. Freshman Mitch Solomon was a dynamic scorer for Bixby High School and averaged 18.3 points per game to go along with 10.4 rebounds. Manek shows a high ceiling similar to Solomon and with several other Div. I programs already on board, Ford is jumping on board before his stock potentially takes flight.
