Travis Wittlake Transferring to Oregon State
The move will take Wittlake back home.

Travis Wittlake is heading back across the country to still wear orange and black with OSU on his singlet.
Wittlake, a two-time All-American at Oklahoma State, announced via Instagram on Tuesday that he’s transferring to Oregon State. Pat Mineo of The Wrestling Room reported Saturday that Wittlake had entered the transfer portal with one year of eligibility left.
The move will take Wittlake back home. He was a four-time state champion out of Marshfield High School in Coos Bay, Oregon.
At Oklahoma State, Wittlake earned All-America honors in 2020 and 2021 and was a Big 12 champion in 2020. Last season, Wittlake was 20-7, placed third at the Big 12 Wrestling Championships and went 1-2 at the NCAA Wrestling Championships in his first campaign at 184 pounds.
Former Oklahoma State standout Chris Pendleton is entering his fourth year as Oregon State’s wrestling coach.
