Two-Time NJCAA All-American Alex Kauffman to Wrestle at Oklahoma State
Another NEO product is headed to Stillwater.
The pipeline from NEO to OSU continues to benefit the Cowboys. Following a similar path to Jacobe Smith, another two-time All-American from Northeastern Oklahoma College will be making his way to Stillwater next year, Alex Kauffman, (also a two-time Oklahoma state champion out of Vinita) has announced plans to wrestle in Stillwater next year.
Kauffman was a four-time state placer, a three-time finalist, and two-time champion in high school. In his two years at NEO wrestling under arguably the top junior college coach in the country Joe Renfro, Kauffman finished fifth as a freshman, and fourth as a sophomore at the NJCAA tournament. He helped lead the program to a NJCAA title and runnerup finish in each of those years. He wrestled both seasons at NEO at 184 pounds and has not utilized his redshirt yet.
Kauffman has not officially signed, but is currently in the process of enrolling in summer courses.
