Tyron Johnson, Madre Harper Out Against Pitt

Wide receiver Tyron Johnson and cornerback Madre Harper did not make the trip to Pittsburgh Saturday and, thus, will not play, John Holcomb reports.
We heard rumblings that Johnson would not play on Saturday, but the reason neither traveled for the game was not given. We believe it’s discipline related.
Mike Gundy intends to address their absence after the game.

Johnson, who has logged 87 receiving yards and 1 TD this season, is listed as OSU’s backup receiver to James Washington. He is also OSU’s kick return man, so his absence could be a big factor against Pitt.
Harper is a reserve defensive back listed as the backup to Rodarius Williams. With Harper out, it could open up a larger role Saturday for Clemson transfer Adrian Baker or Malik Kearse.
In addition to missing vital backups in Johnson and Harper, the Cowboys will also be without linebacker Calvin Bundage for the first half, and the status of starting Star linebacker Kenneth Edison-McGruder is still unknown after suffering an undisclosed injury in practice more than a week ago.
