Underwood, OSU Honor Super Fan Micah With Jersey After Practice
If you have ever attended Oklahoma State or gone to Gallagher-Iba Arena for any extended period of time, you know who Micah is. Micah is the uber-fan who sits behind one of the buckets for hours on end just breathing the whole thing in. He is, most likely, the most loyal OSU fan out of all of us.
Micah competes in the Special Olympics every year and excels in bowling, according to the Stillwater Newspress.
“He’s gotta be our number one fan,” James Dickey said. “Larry (Reece) and I have been coming out here to watch him bowl for years. It’s kind of a tradition. He always invites us and makes sure Larry gets the schedule and knows when he is competing.”
So yeah … Micah is awesome. And on Wednesday he was given an honorary jersey by Brad Underwood and his staff. It was a pretty cool moment for a coach who has had a whole lot of them for not having yet coached a real game.
Then Micah gave a speech about defending GIA which was pretty amazing.
There's no bigger fan of the Cowboys than Micah. This afternoon @OSUCoachBrad presented him with a new jersey in thanks for his support. pic.twitter.com/fXqcZml1ez
