Uniform Reveal: OSU to Wear Black-Orange-Black for Season Finale against Iowa State
The Cowboys might be leaning on a little superstition, but it’s a great look.
The Cowboys haven’t worn these threads since their last Big 12 win.
Oklahoma State will wear a Black-Orange-Black uniform combination for their season finale against Iowa State. It’s a great, classic OSU look, tied together nicely with the Cursive Cowboys helmet and its white/orange stripes.

This look should contrast well with the Cyclones’ white uniforms. If their social media posts are any indicator, it looks like they will wear an Red-White-Yellow combo.

The Cowboys are 4-4 in Black-Orange-Black since the start of the 2011 season. The last time they wore it was against BYU in 2023 — their last Big 12 win. That time it was with a black helmet with the orange brand. I might actually like this lid better given the way the stripe ties things together. Regardless, hopefully they can end that win drought in similar threads.
