Washington and Sinor named Big 12 Players of the Week
Wide Receiver James Washington and Punter Zach Sinor were named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week and Special Teams Player of the Week respectively in the Big 12 for Week 3.
Washington blistered the Pittsburgh secondary all day (and evening) for 9 catches and 296 yards and two touchdowns, including an electrifying 91-yard reception in the first quarter.

Washington broke out of his reasonably slow start in a big way against Pittsburgh, which comes as very encouraging news for the Cowboy offense as it heads into Big 12 play this weekend against Baylor.
Sinor earned his award by pinning four of his six punts inside the 20, including two vital ones in the 4th quarter, helping Oklahoma State win the field position battle to edge out the Panthers in a very close game. Washington and Sinor are the first Cowboy players to win Big 12 awards in the 2016 season.
