Watch: GIA Faithful Storm Court after Upset Win Over No. 6 Texas Tech
After a huge, signature win on Wednesday night, those in attendance at GIA stormed that gorgeous white maple of Eddie Sutton Court with the namesake in attendance.
The Cowboys upended the No. 6-ranked Red Raiders 79-71, keeping hope alive that the Pokes can pull off some type of miraculous run to end the season and find a dancing partner in March.
It was a less than half-full arena, but that was somewhat understandable considering the icy weather that had already laid over the state before an early weeknight game. But those who were there were engaged — and that’s not just because they received the notifications that tomorrow’s class were cancelled sometime during the second half.
