WATCH: Markel Brown Throws Down Sick Dunk For Cavs In Preseason
Markel Brown has joined the world champs this preseason to fill out a roster and hopefully somehow sneak onto the squad for the regular season. He made his presence known this week in a preseason game against the 76ers with this insane breakaway jam.

According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Brown is trying to nab the backup point guard role to Kyrie Irving along with Kay Felder, Jordan McRae and DeAndre Liggins. Apparently Brown is the least likely to make the team at this point as he is not even mentioned in this recent article about final roster spots for the Cavs. The Cavs deep thinkers, assuming J.R. Smith signs a new contract before the start of the regular season Oct. 25, see a four-man race between Jordan McRae, DeAndre Liggins, Dahntay Jones, and Toney Douglas for the 14th and 15th slots on the roster. Rookie Kay Felder, a backup point guard, is going to make the team, as is veteran James Jones.
