WATCH: Teven Jenkins Gets Draft Call from Chicago Bears
Jenkins takes the call that will change his life.
Teven Jenkins had been waiting for this moment all of his life, and it finally came on Friday night when the Chicago Bears selected him with the No. 39th overall pick in the second round of the NFL Draft.
Most mock drafts showed Jenkins going in the first round with several projecting him to land in Chicago with the No. 20 pick. The Bears, however, traded up to 11 to get their franchise QB in Justin Fields.
But Jenkins said he was all smiles after the Bears traded up to No. 39 to select him in the second.
“It was definitely an emotional moment for me and an emotional moment for my whole family around,” Jenkins said.
