10 Best Stats From the Oklahoma State-Kansas Game

The regular season ended on Saturday with a big win over the Jayhawks of Kansas. While the game’s outcome was never in doubt, there were still a lot of big moments and big takeaways from the game.

Here are some of the best and most interesting stats from Saturday’s game:

13,267: With his 438 yards against Kansas on Saturday, Mason Rudolph passed Colt McCoy for fourth on the Big 12’s all-time passing yards list. Rudolph now sits behind Baker Mayfield (14,077), Graham Harrell (15,793), and Landry Jones (16,646).

45: Speaking of Rudolph, he has now passed Barry Sanders’ record for touchdowns accounted for in a season. After his four (two passing, two rushing) on Saturday, Rudolph has 45 touchdowns this season, passing Sander’s 44.

26:47: That’s how many minutes Mason Rudolph needed to record his fifth 300-yard passing half of his career.

4,000, 2,000, 1,000:  Rudolph was part of one other record. Along with James Washington, Marcell Ateman, and Justice Hill, the foursome became the first 4,000-yard passer, two 1,000-yard receivers, and 1,000-yard rusher in school history.

392.2: With OSU’s 494 passing yards on Saturday, they retook the spot as the top passing offense in the country. They’re first with 392.2 yards per game, ahead of Oklahoma in second place at 377.8 yards per game.

69%: Of Mike Gundy’s now 13 seasons in charge at OSU, the team has won at least nine games in nine of them.

76.9%: After starting the season 8-of-13 on field goal attempts (58.3%), Matt Ammendola has pushed his average to 76.9% by making 12 of his last 14 attempts (85.7%).

41.75: OSU’s 58-17 win over Kansas on Saturday was their fourth-straight BIG win over the Jayhawks. The overall scoring margin in those four games is now 41.75 points.
