The Cowboys make it back-to-back days in flipping defensive prospects.

Class of 2027 corner J’lynnd Kellow on Thursday announced that he flipped his commitment from Mississippi State to Oklahoma State. Kellow had the Cowboys in his top group this summer but ended up committing to the Bulldogs. Well, after a visit to Stillwater, he’s reconsidered.

Kellow’s flip comes on the heels of Stillwater linebacker Bryson Brown flipping from Baylor to OSU on Wednesday.

Kellow is a rangy corner at 6-foot-2. Out of Willis, Texas, Kellow is the No. 1,094 player in the 247Sports Composite ranking for the 2027 class, which puts him 104th among corners and 141st among Texas. Along with his offers to OSU and Mississippi State, he had reported offers to BYU, Texas Tech, Baylor, Arkansas, Iowa State and others.

Per MaxPreps, Kellow has made 21 tackles this season to go with 11 pass breakups. His Willis Wildkats are 6-2 this season.

Kellow is the third defensive back to pledge to the Cowboys in the 2027 cycle, joining a different Bryson Brown (Broken Arrow) and Chayce Davis (Euless, Texas). OSU defensive coordinator Skyler Cassity has been picking up steam of late, with the Cowboys now up to seven defenders committed in the class.
