The Cowboys have added a much needed piece to the 2017 recruiting class on Sunday morning, with junior college inside linebacker Patrick Macon making the call to be a Cowboy.

Macon made an official visit to Stillwater this weekend, where it apparently sealed the deal after being considered an OSU lean. OSU will lose an experienced linebacker in Devante Averette this offseason, and they also lost Josh Mabin to lingering injuries that forced him to retire. With Macon, an experienced prospect from Arizona Western at the junior college, he should be able to come in and compete immediately for playing time to solidify the middle.
His HUDL highlight video name? “RELENTLESS EFFORT.” Glenn Spencer is going to love this guy.
