2022 Defensive Back Dekelvion Beamon Commits to Oklahoma State
OSU lands another one for the future.
The Cowboys are up to a pair of class of 2022 commitments.
Dekelvion Beamon, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound defensive back, announced his commitment on Twitter to OSU Thursday night. He joins offensive tackle Kelvin Banks as 2022 pledges before OSU has a 2021 commitment.

Beamon is a sophomore at Huntington in Shreveport, Louisiana. OSU offered Beamon on Nov. 8, and was the first program to do so. He took an unofficial visit later in November, and here he is committed.
OSU’s defensive staff has some solid roots in Shreveport. Rodarius Williams, Jarrick Bernanrd and Na’drian Dizadare are all from the city.
Beamon has lined up at corner and safety in high school, but when announcing his offer, he mentioned OSU corners coach Tim Duffie. There is obviously a lot of time before he would get to Stillwater, so who knows where he would line up.
From his film, he isn’t afraid of contact, and despite being so young, he already has solid size for a DB.
